The Candidate

 I have been a resident of Ballwin for over 20 years and I am a parishioner at Holy Infant Catholic Church. I have served the public and my community as a Nurse Practitioner and Nurse, First Responder (EMT) and Soldier (Missouri Guard). As a longtime resident of West Saint Louis County, I have a good understanding of the needs of my community as well as the unique challenges it faces in the coming years. 

I have many years of professional experience in both Medicine and Information Technology. I worked for companies such as Novant Health, Signature Medical Group, St. Anthony’s Medical Center, SSM Health Care, Ascension, St. Louis University Hospital, Monsanto, and AT&T to list a few. I have designed and implemented predictive analytic solutions using the latest computer technology to improve clinical outcomes and financial performance in the private sector, and I will use this same information technology experience to help maximize operating efficiency of local government. I also have extensive experience in budgeting, financial analysis, and project management for large scale, high dollar technology initiatives.  I will utilize this experience in financial analysis and accounting to assist in maintaining a balanced local budget.

As a Nurse Practitioner and Emergency Medical Technician, I have experience in disaster management and public health emergencies, allowing me to address the public safety needs of Ballwin residents. As an EMT, I have worked closely with law enforcement and firefighters, making me knowledgeable about police operations and the unique challenges that police officers face while performing their job.

My educational background includes Master of Science Nursing (Nurse Practitioner) from Maryville University and  MBA (Information Technology), Bachelor of Science in Nursing, and Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (Finance/MIS) all from Saint Louis University.
